Hurricane Norma made landfall last Saturday in Los Cabos with no injuries or deaths reported so far, but it did cause the closure of airports.

100,000 users lost their power and 50 flights were suspended due to heavy rains, downed trees and washed away vehicles.

The Cabo Hotel Association, said that nearly 30 thousand tourists who were staying were duly protected during the passage of the Hurricane Norma.

“Some hotels were able to be used as temporary shelter, they report that there were no incidents,” the association said.

Many of the guests left on Sunday, October 22th, after operations were installed at the International Airport, which were closed since 7:00 in the morning on October 21.
