More than 1,300 athletes from 46 countries gathered to compete for a $25,000 purse at the 7th edition of IRONMAN.

This Sunday, November 5, the seventh edition of IRONMAN 70.3 began at Palmilla Beach. Athletes competed in swimming, biking and running.

In the Ironman 70.3, high performance athletes such as Lisa Perterer from Austria, Jackson Laundry from Canada and Mexicans Adriana Carreño and Tomás Rodriguez are participating.

The results of the competition were as follows:

– Jason West (USA): 3:43:04

– Paula Findlay (CAN): 4:09:50 

In 2022 the first two places were taken by a Mexican man and an American woman, Sebastian did 4 hours 13 minutes 48 seconds and Maddi Beck 6 hours 47 minutes 01 seconds.

Due to the “IRONMAN 70.3 2022” triathlon competition, there were partial road closures starting in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 5th.
